- Chris Friel - His composition worked, it made Friel's photograph pop out more. The color that he left blended fit in perfectly with the black and white. It looks great. The color combination is pretty good.
- The picture above shows that the artist used photoshop by blurring out part of the pictures and turning half the picture black and white
- Friel was a painter for many years then he changed to photography. His photography work was shot in black in white, he is patricianly colour blind and as he says "did not feel confident enough to shoot landscapes with the correct color base"
- Ansel Adams - His composition work is great because he made the different shades go well together. He fixed the shades through out the bottom of the picture to the very top of the picture.
- The artist used photoshop to make the photo black and white and to make certain parts of the image darker and making contrast.

1. What tutorials did you use and why did you pick these? I used the tutorial where you can certain part black/white and leave some color.
2. What new steps did you discover with these tutorials? i Discovered that you can just change the hue for the color to 0% and it'll turn it black/white.
3. What did you learn during all of our feedback time that stood out to you? That you really do want the person to just be focused on an object
4. What did you discover about the role of an artist by taking something that is considered ugly and making it beautiful? That you as an artist have to make it look beautiful. Try different angles to make it be beautiful. Do some photoshop. But take angles that aren't really done.
